D needs to step up here and make the key stop. I'd like to have the lead going into the half, especially since they get the ball.

It is true but Findley is 7-16 for 122 yds. They have 26 yards rushing. They have one offensive score.

Findley is getting the ball out super quick. But it also means he has minimal time to read the defense. A few times he's just sailed the ball due to our pressure

I think ND is executing their defensive gameplan well.

Last week, it was all about forcing Darnold and the USC offense to keep it small. They jumped out to a big lead and forced USC to bleed clock and dink and dunk their way to the endzone.

This week, Finley is at his best in the intermediate/short game. ND is taking that away. But they need to play more disciplined on the long throws because NC State has gotten a few, and they need to do a better job of pressuring.
