Notre Dame Commits & Targets Extremely Thankful On Thanksgiving

Some of Notre Dame’s top prospects and commits will live out every football player’s dream and take part in practice on Thanksgiving, while others have completed their season or career.

All were thankful and wanted to share an appreciation to those around them for getting them where they are today.

Commits

2018 QB Phil Jurkovec‍: “Family and football.”

2018 RB Jahmir Smith‍: “I’m definitely thankful for my mom, my family, my coaches and teammates. I’m just thankful to have the opportunity to do things for others who couldn’t.”

2018 WR Kevin Austin Jr.‍: “My parents, my family, my friends and football.”

2018 Micah Jones‍: “I’m thankful for my family, the abilities God has blessed me with and to be able to be part of Notre Dame football. I’m also thankful to take on the next challenge in life.”

2018 WR Geordon Porter‍: “I’m thankful for most importantly God and the many doors he has opened for me and blessing me with the ability to play football. I’m also thankful for my parents and the way they raised me to become the smart young man I am today. I’m just thankful for family and friends.”

2018 OL Cole Mabry‍: “I’m thankful for how God has provided for my family. Thanksful for my family always supporting me.”

2018 DT Ja'mion Franklin‍: “I’m thankful for my family, the sport of football and many other things. Also, all the people who have molded me into the person I am today.”

2019 DT Jacob Lacey‍: “First of all, I’m thankful for God because he provides everything for me and my family. I’m thankful for my brother, who goes through things I could never do and my friends too. I’m thankful for my family because they are a huge part of my life.”

2018 LB Shayne Simon‍: I’m thankful for God and my family for putting me in the position I am in today to live my life to the fullest and become the best person I can be.”

2018 CB Joe Wilkins Jr.‍: “My family, the ability to blessed enough to play football and a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame.”

2018 S Paul Moala: “I’m thankful for my family for their love and support. I’m thankful for football and my talents I’m blessed with. I’m thankful for my faith and how far it’s gotten me. I’m thankful for all the colleges that offered me and granted me the opportunity to play at the next level.

Targets

2018 WR Lawrence Keys III: “I’m thankful for having a humble mother in my life, a loving family and for having God by my side every day I wake up.”

2018 TE Tommy Tremble: “I’m thankful for my family and what they’ve done for me all of my life. I’m thankful for what God has allowed me to have with football every other blessing he’s bestowed upon me.”
