Yeah that had nothing to do with Boykin
Does Boykin have a reputation for going up and winning the battle for the pass? The interception is not on Boykin it is on Book throwing into coverage to a WR not know for success in a,crowd.

The ball was so off that Boykin was nowhere near even being in the crowd.
You are missing my point, why would you throw to a receiver who does not win battles for passes in a crowd? So given the coverage, which was good, given the numbers, in favor of LSU and the targeted receiver, Boykin, the summation would be to throw it out of bounds. Now if the receiver was Larry Fitzgerald there may be a strong chance such a player may end up with the ball. I was not blaming Boykin, more so on Book for the pass, choice of receiver given the coverage etc. the pass never made it back to Boykin due to the under coverage dropping back into the pass with an interception.

The painful aspect of this game is that I don't really feel the pain as I normally do when a win seems unlikely. The end of the season was just flat out horrible.

The offense should be completely rebuilt in the offseason. We're dreadful.

If we had to lose I'd rather it be to LSU then Central Florida. I get that they are undefeated but the optics of losing to them is just horrible.

Until you get better QB play it doesn't matter what offense you run. You are going to struggle.

Man that TD hurt. We got Coney getting screened and bumped by a dropping Khalid Khareem who is trying to cover their TE. Biggest play of the year and Canada owned Elko. Big time.

Do not underestimate how much worse this offense is because we have no receivers they have to worry about. Makes it so easy for a defense, esp w qbs who are insecure passers. We will surely have at least one pick to come from forced pass.

Because he can't pass block. When Book got leveled and grounding was called, it was Williams who missed the block. Watch.
