Position Grades: Cornerback

Despite not adding any new blood to the position, hopes were high for the cornerback position in 2017. A more experienced group and some players returning from injuries were hopefully going to make the group a lot better than it was the previous season.

In many ways, the cornerbacks exceeded those original hopes.

With Todd Lyght soley coaching the position rather than the entire defensive back group, several players took positive steps in their development.
