Many fans go into spring practice believing certain things about individual players.
“Shayne Simon is going to be a star at Rover.”
“Chase Claypool is too inconsistent to become a number one receiver.”
“Notre Dame doesn’t need Trevor Ruhland.”
I’m not saying that everyone had these three opinions about these players, but this is definitely how some people felt heading into spring ball.
