ISD Intel | Behind The Scenes Of Notre Dame Recruiting
An in-depth look at the key visitors for the Irish's biggest recruiting event of the season.
Added a couple more visitors
2028 Oaks Christian (Calif.) quarterback Treyvone Towns Jr. tells me he'll be back in South Bend this weekend for the USC game. The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder camped at Notre Dame for Irish Invasion and left a good impression. As a freshman, Towns threw for 1,996 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions as a freshman. Offers: Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon State, Penn State, Purdue, San Jose State, SMU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Toledo, Virginia Tech and Washington A source close to 2027 Wayne (Ohio) receiver Jamier Brown tells me the five-star prospect will return to Notre Dame on Saturday. Brown has made multiple trips to South Bend over the last year, including a game last fall and then a spring visit after committing to the Buckeyes last November. I don't get the feeling he's looking to bolt, but just covering his bases in case Brian Hartline or Ryan Day left Columbus. Marcus Freeman is a big influence here as he (and Mike Mickens) also hail from Wayne High School. Notre Dame is playing the long game here, but Brown continuing to show up is certainly worth noting down the line. 2027 Ohio State WR commit Jamier Brown (@ShowTimee_23) is smooth. 247 has him as the nation's top WR and not sure he will give that spot up. pic.twitter.com/HkT91gud73— Matt Freeman (@mattfreeman05_) April 29, 2025
2027 Lawrence North (Ind.) receiver Monshun Sales will have a busy day on Saturday. The five-star will be in Ann Arbor for Michigan's noon kick and then travel down to South Bend to watch the Irish play USC. I think Notre Dame has made up ground here, but I don't get the feeling he's closing in on a decision. This will be his second visit to South Bend this fall as he was also at the Texas A&M game. Top 2027 WR Jamier Brown Dominates Camp, Locked in with Ohio State
2027 five-star wide receiver Jamier Brown left no doubt about his status as the nation's top pass-catcher with a dominant performance at the Under Armour camp in Ohio. Brown also updated his recruitment following a trip to Notre Dame last week.
