Jamier Brown

2027 Wayne (Ohio) athlete Jamier Brown tells me he'll be on campus this weekend for Irish Invasion. Brown was the first 2027 prospect offered and attends the same high school as Marcus Freeman and Mike Mickens. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder could be a receiver or cornerback at the next level, but he said he plans to workout at receiver this weekend. That said, if Notre Dame wants to work him at corner, he's more than open to that as well. At the Under Armour camp in Ohio last month, Brown put on a show as he was one of the most pure and fluid athletes on the field. He carries himself like an alpha, which was impressive considering he was one of the younger players on the field. Brown has a verified 4.63 40 and a 27-inch vertical already, but he also recorded 100m times of 10.56 and 10.63 this spring. After watching Brown once, I think he has a chance to be one of the top players in the 2027 class, so we'll see if he can back that up for a second time at Notre Dame.
