Notre Dame's Commits and Top Recruits React to Irish Athletic Center
Notre Dame has a new football home as the Irish Athletic Center is officially open for business. ISD was able to get our first in-depth look at the new digs on Wednesday afternoon, so it was only natural we asked Notre Dame’s commits and top prospects what they thought of the new facility.

2020 WR Jay Brunelle: “Absolutely mint. Amazing to have a top-notch facility like that. Can’t wait to see it in the fall.”
2020 TE Michael Mayer: “The first word that comes to mind is glorious. This place is awesome. Can’t wait to be practicing in there.”

2021 DT Gabriel Rubio: “Awesome! The first time I saw the facility was when I first came to Notre Dame as a freshman for the Lineman’s Challenge. It was a little more than metal bones. Seeing the finished building is exciting! I can’t wait to get in there! And knowing that the next phase is an expansion of The Gug....awesome!!”
