Xavier Nwankpa didn’t get a ton of time to speak with the Notre Dame coaching staff during a visit to South Bend on Saturday, but he got enough to land a scholarship offer from Irish head coach Brian Kelly.
“Me and my family were seeing the field before the game started and got pulled into Coach Kelly’s office,” the 2022 Iowa athlete said of how the offer came about.
He said it meant “a lot that another college saw potential in me.
