Notre Dame's Commits & Recruits Give Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving!

Notre Dame’s commits and recruits wanted to share a quick thanks as we all have much to be thankful for today. 

Commits

2020 WR Jay Brunelle‍: “Extremely thankful for all of the opportunities my parents have provided for me so I can chase my dream. Along with that, I have the best teammates and friends anyone can ask for so there’s a lot I am grateful for.”

2021 WR Deion Colzie‍: “I’m thankful for my family and my amazing support group. I’m also thankful for the Athens Academy football team and ND Nation.”

2021 WR Lorenzo Styles Jr.‍: “I’m just thankful for all the blessings on the field and off. I want to continue to shine a positive light in my community.”

2020 WR Xavier Watts‍: “I’m thankful for all my friends and family for supporting me through this football season.”

2021 TE Cane Berrong‍: “I’m thankful for my family. I wouldn’t be here without them. Thankful for football for all the great blessings and opportunities it has given me. Thankful for my teammates and coaches.”

2020 TE Michael Mayer‍: “I’m thankful for two great loving parents and an awesome family and the blessing of being able to play football.” 

2020 OL Michael Carmody‍: “I’m thankful for my family and all the opportunities they have provided for me and my siblings.” 

2021 OL Blake Fisher‍: “I’m thankful for my family and also having the ability to wake up once again.”

2020 DT Aidan Keanaaina‍: “I’m thankful for all my family and all they do for me. I wouldn’t be in my position without them.”

2020 LS Alex Peitsch‍: “I’m thankful for my family and friends who have always been my foundation throughout my life and helped me to be the best version of myself.” 

2021 DT Gabriel Rubio‍ ‍: “I am most thankful for my family because they have always been there for me. My coaches because without them I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. My teammates because no matter what we go through they find a way to pick each other up and to keep fighting and never back down from a challenge.” 

Targets

2021 RB Will Shipley‍: I’m thankful for my whole family and my team as well as the coach. Thankful for God mostly.”

2022 RB Nicholas Singleton‍: “I am thankful for my family , my parents, brothers and sister who support me. I understand the money and time it takes to drive me to different schools or training.”

2022 WR Kaleb Brown‍: “I’m thankful to God for having a family that’s been there for me with or without football. I would like to express my gratitude to every opportunity and blessing I’ve been given. I am also thankful for all my loved ones and closest friends.”

2021 WR Devin Kirkwood‍: “I am thankful for having an amazing God, mom, family, life, friends, coaches and support system. Thankful that God continues to provide me with the ability and will to work hard to gain access to endless amounts of opportunities to accomplish my future goals. Truly blessed.”

2021 OL Rocco Spindler‍: “I’m thankful that God has blessed me with an amazing life! And amazing capabilities on and off the field! Also so thankful that I have an amazingly supportive family that is always there for me.” 

2022 DE Joe Strickland‍: “Thankful for my whole family and especially my parents.”

2022 ATH Kaden Saunders‍: “Thankful for my parents and all of the sacrifices they make for me day in and day out and I’m thankful for my team this year and the bond I’ve built with them.”

And yes, I’m sure Del Alexander is thankful for Xavier Watts, Jordan Johnson, Deion Colzie and Lorenzo Styles Jr. (Pictured above)
