Notre Dame, Mike Elston Making Positive Impression On 2022 DE Ernest Cooper IV

Ernest Cooper’s days are already busy.

Between school and practice, the 2022 Texas defensive end is tied up from at least 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., every day.

So, last Tuesday was especially busy for him as Cooper had coaches from well over 20 schools reaching out to him on the first day they were allowed to per NCAA rules.

“Everything kind of rushed at me like a storm,” Cooper recalled. “I’m answering texts to coaches left and right.
