Another week of huge performances from Notre Dame’s commits, especially the skill position guys.

2024 wide receiver commit Micah Gilbert‍ helped lead his Charlotte Christian squad to a 41-36 shootout victory over Belmont South Point. Gilbert notched 10 receptions for 173 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, his teammate and fellow Irish commit, 2024 defensive lineman Bryce Young‍ registered nine tackles and a fumble recovery in the win.


OTHER SKILL GUYS SHINE: Prior to departing from the West Coast for his official visit to Notre Dame this past weekend, 2024 receiver commit Logan Saldate‍ pulled in six passes for 55 yards and a score to help his Palma (Calif.) squad to a 42-0 win over King City.

After going off a week earlier, 2024 receiver commit Cam Williams‍ broke free again for a 68-yard touchdown run during Glenbard South’s 56-0 blowout win over Bensenville Fenton.

The Irish running backs shined as well.

2024 commit Aneyas Williams‍ rushed for 75 yards a pair of scores on 11 carries while catching three passes for 110 yards and two more touchdowns

Kedren Young‍ had a monster game of his own, running for 137 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries to lead Lufkin to a 47-28 win over Nacogdoches.

In a losing effort, 2025 Irish commit Justin Thurman‍ notched 48 yards and a score on nine carries, but his Jesuit squad fell to Treasure Coast 67-28.

CJ CONTINUES ROLLING: 2024 quarterback commit CJ Carr‍ had another fine performance to help Saline to a 41-25 victory over Dexter.

Carr completed 16 of 23 pass attempts for 317 yards and a pair of passing touchdowns while also adding two more scores on the ground.

DEFENDERS STEP UP TOO: In addition to Young’s performance above, some of the Irish defensive commits also had impressive games.

Playing both ways for Northside, 2024 safety commit Brauntae Johnson‍ caught seven passes for 56 yards and a touchdown while also recording six tackles. But it wasn’t enough as Northside fell 21-12 to Bishop Dwenger.

2024 linebacker commit Bodie Kahoun‍ recorded more than a dozen tackles in Patrick Henry’s 31-21 win over EC Glass 21.

2024 cornerback commit Leonard Moore‍ had eight tackles, but his Round Rock squad fell to Reagan 35-28. Moore also returned a pair of kickoffs for 57 yards.

2024 linebacker commit Teddy Rezac‍ Teddy Rezac had four tackles and a pair of pass breakups during Westside’s 45-9 win over Grand Island Senior.

2024 linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa‍ was marked down for three tackles and an interception, which he returned 40 yards for a touchdown, as St. John Bosco defeated Friendship Collegiate 48-12
