Jerod Terry‍ wasn’t able to get to Notre Dame this past season, but the 2026 California running back/athlete remains interested in the Irish.

“During the season, they sent me an invite,” the Los Alamitos standout says. “The recruiting director sent me an invite to the last game, but I wasn't able to make it.”

The 5-foot-9, 180-pounder says he would take the Irish up on another chance in the future.

“For sure,” he said. “If I get an opportunity to go to a camp, I would go down there.

“I know it's a great school, great academic school and football-wise, I know they have a good program building.”

Terry has early offers from Colorado and Arizona and has been hearing from a couple other West Coast schools.

“I've been hearing from Oregon, a little bit of UCLA,” he said. “I’ve been in touch with their running backs coach.”

He’d also like to visit USC and Clemson if he had the chance.

It’s early, but Terry has a good idea of what he’s looking for in a college.

“I want a coaching staff that will support me and love me,” he said. “That's really it. Good atmosphere, great academics, great place to play football.

“Best fit, best opportunity to go out there and play. Get a future. Get a good degree. That's what I'm really looking for.”
