The Irish staff has already been active in offering 42 prospects in the 2023 recruiting class. The Midwest has been a hot spot as normal, but Florida and Georgia have also been hit hard early by the staff.

Also, don’t forget 2022 Traverse City (Mich.) linebacker Joshua Burnham will be making his decision on Wednesday. The four-star prospect will be choosing between Michigan, Notre Dame and Wisconsin.

We’re told 2023 Georgia running back Justice Haynes is scheduled to have Zoom Call with Brian Kelly today. Haynes is very interested in the Irish as is his dad, who we did a story with earlier this month, where he talked about his relationship with Jerome Bettis.
We mentioned 2023 California quarterback Nicholaus Iamaleava as a potential fit for Notre Dame two months ago. We’re told Iamaleava had a call with Irish quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator Tommy Rees on Monday and a call from his camp to Notre Dame Director of Recruiting Aaryn Kearney was expected on Tuesday.
2023 Texas defensive back Jayvon Thomas, son of former Irish linebacker Joe Thomas, is scheduled to have a call with Notre Dame on Wednesday afternoon. It’s a call the family is very excited about.
