2025 OL Parker Harden Talks Notre Dame Return
Parker Harden enjoyed his return to Notre Dame for the Blue-Gold Game this past weekend.
"Very good," the 2025 Ohio offensive lineman said. "We got to hang out with all the coaches and stuff, pre-game. They had some food catered for us, and we just kind of hung out and had a good time. And then got to see the spring game."
Harden didn’t stay for the entire game, but was impressed with what he saw.
He also had the chance to talk to head coach Marcus Freeman and offensive line coach Joe Rudolph.
"Coach Freeman was there talking to me about school because he knows our assistant principal at Pickerington and he knows the guy who I train ,” Harden explained. “We were kind of talking about that stuff, how much he trusts those players, stuff like that.
"Coach Rudolph, because he is new you could tell he's still trying to figure out everything that's going on, but he told me to keep in contact with him.”
Harden's interest in Notre Dame stems from its reputation for getting players to the NFL along with the high-quality education.
"They're well known for getting people to The League, and they're very well known for having an education that means something even outside of Indiana," Harden explained.
Harden hopes to have some Notre Dame coaches come to his school during the May Evaluation Period to see him work out or practice and hopes to have more in-depth conversations.
He's not sure if he'll camp at Notre Dame this summer, though, since much of his schedule will be tied up with baseball.
The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder has offers from Cincinnati, West Virginia, Miami-Ohio and Florida Atlantic while also hearing from several other programs.
"Mostly it's been Ohio State, Duke, Northwestern, Michigan State."
