5-star quarterback Phil Jurkovec was back in action this past Friday. The Notre Dame commit led his team to a 47-17 win over Central Catholic High School. Jurkovec was efficient, completing 11 of his 14 pass attempts for 161 yards and a touchdown. He also added 73 yards on the ground on 10 carries. Pine-Richland is now 6-0 on the season and is set to take on Peters Township this Friday.
4-star wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr. and his teammates at North Broward Prep earned a blowout win over Somerset High School 58-20 to improve their record to 3-1 on the season. The senior wideout had a monster game, hauling in seven catches for an eye-popping 329 yards and five touchdowns. Austin Jr. and his teammates will be back in action this Friday when they take on LaSalle.
The trio at St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, N.J. – 4-star linebacker Shayne Simon and 4-star defensive linemen Justin Ademilola and Jayson Ademilola – were in action on Friday as well. The trio helped their team to a 23-14 win over Paramus Catholic to improve to 3-1 on the year. Individually, Simon made his presence on both sides of the ball, hauling in four receptions for 137 yards while also adding seven solo tackles with four for a loss. The Ademilola brothers both pressured the opposing quarterback, combining for 5.5 sacks and 18 tackles. The trio and the rest of the St. Peter’s team will be back in action this coming Friday against DePaul Catholic this Friday.
4-star linebacker Jack Lamb is still sidelined with a knee injury, but his teammates at Great Oak High School were in action on Friday, dropping a close game to San Juan Hills High School 23-21. They will be back in action this Friday against Chaparral High School.
4-star safety Derrik Allen and his teammates at Lassiter High School were on a bye this past week, but will look to improve to 5-1 on the season when they take on Roswell High School this Friday.
4-star defensive lineman Ja'mion Franklin and his teammates at North Caroline High School put together another dominating performance this past Friday, handling Decatur High School 48-12 to improve to 5-0 on the season. The big defensive lineman and his teammates will be back in action this Friday to face Easton High School.
4-star 2019 quarterback Cade McNamara was lights out once again Friday, throwing for 305 yards and six touchdowns in his team’s 55-41 shootout win over Shasta High School. The Class of 2019 quarterback and his teammates will be on a bye this coming week, but will face off against Douglas High School next week.
4-star 2019 defensive lineman Jacob Lacey and his teammates at South Warren High School dominated on Friday, improving to 7-0 with a 42-11 win over Greenwood High School. It is the third straight week Lacey and his teammates have run the clock out starting in the second half due to comfortable leads going into halftime. Lacey and his teammates will be back in action this Friday when they face off against Ravenwood High School.
3-star running back Jahmir Smith and his team at Lee County High School recorded their fifth shutout of the season with a 56-0 domination of Cummings High School to improve their record to 6-0 on the season. The speedy running back got into the end zone in the second quarter of the game to add six points to the 35 points they scored in the first half. Smith and his teammates will be back in action this Friday when they face off against Harnett Central.
3-star wide receiver Micah Jones and his teammates at Warren Township High School were in action this past Friday, blowing out Mundelein High School 48-7 to improve to 4-2 on the season. The senior wideout only played the first half of the blowout, but made his presence felt, hauling in four passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Jones and his teammates will be back in action this Friday when they are set to face off against Waukegan High School.
3-star offensive lineman John Dirksen and his teammates at Marion Local High School improved to 6-0 on the season this past Friday with a 32-7 victory over Anna High School. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder and his teammates look to stay undefeated this Friday when they take on New Bremen High School.
3-star linebacker Matthew Bauer and his teammates at Cathedral Prep were in action on Friday night. Bauer and his team earned the 48-0 shutout win over St. Francis to improve to 6-0 on the season. The 6-foot-3 220-pounder recorded 10 solo tackles and a sack in his team’s dominating defensive performance. Bauer and his teammates will be back in action this Friday when they face-off against De La Salle Collegiate.
3-star offensive line Cole Mabry and his teammates at Brentwood High School won with ease this past Friday, 42-14 over Independence High School to improve to 6-1 on the season. Mabry and his teammates will be back in action this coming Friday to face off against Father Ryan High School.
4-star linebacker Ovie Oghoufo and his teammates at Farmington Hills Harrison High School bounced back after a one-point loss in triple overtime last week with a 42-7 win over Rochester High School on Friday to improve to 4-2. The senior linebacker and his teammates will be back in action this week against Oak Park High School.
4-star tight end George Takacs and his teammates at Gulf Coast High School were in action for the first time in three weeks on Friday when they faced off against Riverdale High School. Takacs and his teammates earned the win 23-17 in overtime to improve their record to 3-0 on the season. The 6-foot-6 240-pounder caught three passes for 16 yards. Takacs and his teammates will be back in action this Friday to face off against Baron Collier High School.
4-star running back Markese Stepp and his teammates at Cathedral High School picked up their second win in a row this past Friday when they beat Ryle High School 23-17 to improve their record to 3-4 on the season. Stepp and his teammates will be back in action this Saturday when they face off against Edward High School.
