To be fair I think Newsome was punting into a 20 MPH wind. What should be questioned is 3 PASSING plays on offense.

It's like everything has to be some trick. Nothing can just be about beating the other guys in straight up football.

If Notre Dame ran into a 9-man box, you would be complaining they aren't throwing too. haha It's that point in the year where no one likes the head coach.

If ND can get to 24 points they should win. The defense is going to hold up. But I have serious concerns after the first drive if ND can get to 24 points. They will only get the ball 4 or 5 more times.

But this is going to be a close game

Sometimes when you are average but you are desperately trying to look good as a coach you do cute things, instead of what your team's strengths are.
