I've been trying to wrap my head around why the triple option is so hard to stop..... and I can't come up with a reason. It's going to 1 of 3 players 95% of the time. Hit each of them every single play. I don't get it....

Navy is number one in rushing offense in college football. They are better then everybody.

It was so obvious on that 30 yard run that Adams is nowhere close to 100%. We've had brutal luck with running back health this year. But we have enough talent at the position that we should just play the backups if the starters aren't healthy.

Lou wasn't a good at ND because the ran the option. He was a good coach because he was a master motivator and pushed for a very high standard of play.

Bottom line is if we could've just gotten up 10 to start the game navy wouldn't be able to run the clock down so much on every single play. you have to force them to play quicker by getting up on them early. We didn't do that.
