Everybody is returning in the Notre Dame backfield and the Irish are adding more speed to position as well

Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke on Monday afternoon as the Irish prepare for Boston College.

Notre Dame will have four scholarship running backs at its disposal. All of them are working hard at various aspects of their games in order to be prepared for a 12-game season.

Down to only three running backs for camp, Notre Dame needs to keep their backs healthy. It wouldn't hurt if they got a dose of thunder and lightning as well
